Background on Brianne
Brianne had been working as a project manager for 6 years working with teams both small and large. She had experience managing cross-functional projects, including taking lead on strategy as well as cross-functionally working with marketing, web, and design.
When she decided to look for a new job, she applied “in a panic” but did not hear anything back for the first 2 months. Then, she read about Pathrise online and explained, “I was thrilled about the potential of what you could do from me. From reading the reviews, it said if you follow the system then it would work great.” Brianne joined Pathrise in October 2020 so that she could optimize her job search and find a great job with help from our industry mentors.
Why did you join Pathrise?
Brianne found out about Pathrise by looking online. She says, “I actually found Pathrise through a posting on LinkedIn – I was doing a quick look over to see what you did. What caught me eye were previous Pathrise reviews from fellow graduates. I thought it was nice that you offer all these services and you don’t have to pay until you get a job. It’s nice that you trust your process so much that you’re willing to take people on and then take the payment later. I almost felt like it was too good to be true. I was so excited that I got accepted and was ready to get it running.”
How was your Pathrise experience? How did it compare to your expectations?
Brianne really enjoyed working with her mentors because she felt that they explained everything and spent a lot of personalized time to make sure that she was going to put her best foot forward.
About her career mentor, Albano, Brianne says, “He was great, so patient and very knowledgeable. Everything that he said came true. I heard him say that a lot of the people that he worked with specifically landed 2 or more offers – and I didn’t think it would happen to me but it did. The thing that sticks out with me the most was how much work was put into the resume. It was very different from what we learned in school – he laid it out specifically. We had to explain why. He was very patient and able to give awesome examples. Also, the changes from my LinkedIn profile helped me as well.”
In addition, Brianne learned a lot from her industry mentors, who worked with her on technical problems and helped her prepare for presentations during her interviews. Brienne explains, “I met up with an industry mentor to help with a presentation I had to give. She was fantastic and was willing to give my presentation another look after we had met. She sent me some notes after as well.”

Brianne says, “I got interviews that went out of control and I got multiple offers. It was everything that I wanted and more. I got a position that pays me more than anything I thought I could make.”
